One of the on-going art projects for this year has been the box collages as inspired by this photo from the Sophia Preschool in New Zealand.
Every child brought in a cereal box & began to decorate it - first they painted it & then added 2 layers over 3 months. You can read about the different processes here & here.
The latest layer was tissue paper & more tinfoil, as the colours for this month are pink & blue those were the main colours of tissue paper available with some white. (when they used up all these colours other were added)
The boxes are all looking brilliant & I think they will need one more textured layer of feathers, buttons, match sticks & jewels to complete them before they are displayed for all to enjoy.

I look at the pictures and see the whole process of creating and it is really really beautiful! And the result amazing! Greetings from Belgium!
