Pay It Forward & Back

There has been a great activity doing the rounds among EC bloggers called 'Pay-It-Forward', the idea was that if you received a parcel from someone you paid 3 forward to others who in turn forwarded on 3 etc. etc. My class already took part in one in the last school year & you can read about it  here.
I then decided to put my name forward again in 2 other pay-it-forwards, thinking that I would hardly be likely to get picked for both - well guess what I was!! So lo & behold my new class had not 1 but 2 parcels to open this week & enjoy. One came all the way from Australia via the Treechange's Posterous blog.
Debbie & I spent a lovely day in Belfast when she delivered her pay-it-forward.
Then last week a parcel arrived in the post from Tumbleweed Infant House. My class have been settling in over the past 4 weks so this week was the first time they were altogether in one big group, so it was the perfect time to share the parcels. The children were both horrified & excited by the 'Dangerous Animals' book from Australia! And they enjoyed looking at photos of the children from Tumbleweed at play, comparing their mud patch with ours!
I have decided to change the rules a little this time in the pay-it-forward (I have already checked this is ok with the 2 schools) and so for these pay-it-forwards, I will only pick 2 people to receive a parcel from my class & will also pay something back to Australia & America. This way the children who send out a parcel get something back in return. If you are picked to get a parcel from me, then you can forward 1 & pay one back to my class. Please leave your name & blog name in the comment below to be in with a chance of receiving a parcel all the way from Northern Ireland. I will choose 2 people on the 1st of November - good luck!
